Her son, who was homeschooled early on, began attending school when the family spent more time in L.A. as Eva prepared to direct her second film, The Fifth Wheel. She says Santiago is thriving with classmates, birthday parties and cousins in Spain and Mexico, and the family may return based on what makes him happiest.

Longoria’s travel series, Eva Longoria: Searching for France, premiered April 12 on CNN and is airing two episodes weekly through May 3 as she balances work with her transatlantic life.
