Authorities reportedly found two axes and a handwritten note. The axes were said to be carved with the words “Alexia,” “Mossad” and the Nazi salute “Sieg Heil.” The note allegedly contained the names “Amalia,” “Alexia” and the word “Bloodbath,” which led investigators to consider the princesses as potential targets.
Princess Catharina-Amalia, 22, and Princess Alexia, 20, are the elder daughters of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima; their younger sister Princess Ariane is 19. Reports recall that Amalia faced safety-related disruptions in 2022 and later moved to Madrid in 2024 to complete her studies and seek more normalcy. The public prosecutor’s office and the Dutch Royal House did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
